About the Partnership

MASSACHUSETTS BUSINESS SCHOOL COLLABORATIVE (BSC)

The deans of seven Massachusetts business and management schools formed the Collaborative in 2010 to take a regional approach to increasing the number of women and people of color, especially from underrepresented populations, on their faculties. The schools will also combine efforts to create a supportive and stimulating environment that will value the new faculty and encourage them to build their careers here.

COMMONWEALTH COMPACT

Launched in 2008, the Commonwealth Compact is an ambitious statewide enterprise to help Massachusetts reclaim the status it once had as a location of choice for people of color and for women. More than 200 organizations are members, including more than two dozen institutions of higher learning. The BSC is one of the Compact's several sector initiatives.
